AUCTIONEER'S CONDITIONS OF SALE
Please read the following terms carefully before participating in any auction. By registering and placing a bid, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Conditions of Sale.
1. Acceptance of Bid
The highest accepted bidder shall be the purchaser. The Auctioneer reserves the right to refuse any bid, regulate the bidding process, and withdraw any lot from sale at any time before the fall of the hammer.
2. Registration and Bidding
All bidders are required to register before participating in the auction. By placing a bid, the bidder confirms that they have inspected the lot (where applicable) and accepted these Conditions of Sale.
3. Description of Lots
The Auctioneer makes every effort to ensure that descriptions and information provided are accurate. However, the Auctioneer shall not be held responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in descriptions.
4. Goods Sold "Voetstoots" (As Is)
All lots are sold voetstoots and without any guarantees or warranties. Buyers are encouraged to inspect items before bidding, as all purchases are final.
5. Risk and Ownership
Once a lot has been sold and the hammer has fallen, the risk associated with the goods transfers immediately to the purchaser. Ownership will only transfer once full payment has been received.
6. Payment Terms
Successful bidders are required to settle payment within the specified payment period. Accepted payment methods are CASH, CARD, and any other approved payment methods communicated by the Auctioneer.
7. Auction Fees and VAT
All bids are exclusive of VAT and any applicable buyer’s premium, auction fees, or administrative charges unless otherwise stated.
8. Collection and Removal of Goods
No goods may be removed from the premises until payment has been received in full. Buyers are responsible for arranging collection, transport, loading, and removal of purchased goods within the specified collection period.
10. Final Sale
All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be accepted after the sale has been concluded.
9. Failure to Pay or Collect
If a purchaser fails to complete payment or remove goods within the required period, the Auctioneer reserves the right to cancel the sale, resell the goods, and recover any losses, costs, or expenses incurred.
11. Auctioneer's Decision
The Auctioneer’s decision regarding bidding, disputes, and interpretation of these Conditions of Sale shall be final.
12. Online Auction Bidding Rules
All bids submitted through the online auction platform are legally binding offers to purchase. Once a bid has been accepted and the auction closes, the successful bidder is obligated to complete the purchase. Bidders are responsible for ensuring that their account information is accurate and that they understand the bidding process, including bid increments, auction closing times, and any automatic bidding features where applicable.
